Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela!

Yeah wishing you many more years in good health, you were truely a good example of what a President should be like, unfortunately those that came after you did not take your honesty and humility as an example and I fear to say....have failed out-right!!

Envie sua mensagem e divulgue a campanha: http://www.avaaz.org/po/zimbabwe_chance_for_peace/15.php?cl=105441540 Com esperança, Ricken, Alice, Ben, Graziela, Mark, Paul, Galit, Iain, Pascal e Milena – a equipe Avaaz.org

And here we have the last batch of photos which were taken around Albufeira, hope you have all enjoyed the posts, and please let us hear of places in the Algarve which you recomend to others:)

Our Holiday in Albufeira - Salgados Beach (part 3)

Here is the Salgados beach, nice and secluded and has a blue flag. It has lovely little encloves, eish maybe I shouldn´t tell too much or else soon it wont be so private lol!

Our Holiday in Albufeira - Aqua Show (part 2)

Well here are photos of the day we spent at the tematic park, Aqua Show...what a great day we had, the weather was excellent and the water great! Oh and if you wanna save some € take a picnic basket, there is plenty of shade and lovely green grass, the restuarantes like everywhere are expensive! We ate at the restaurante but next time wont:) We were also fortunate that we got in early and had the tickets before hand lol! Ok I guess this is where I tell u how we came to get 2 ticekts for nix hehee...We had taken the previous day (morning) to go into Albufeira centre to do some souviner shopping when we were stopped by the old time "Time-share" people, I warned Hubby and kids that it was a load of bullshit, but...well as u can all imagine one of the tickets he had given us had a prize, yeah wow like we never knew it heee.
We were told we'd won a free week in their resort "Albufeira Club" for 6 people which we could use anytime until 2010, but we had to go and collect the prize at the club and have a few words with his superior, yeah sure! Well to cut a long story short I had to turn nasty so as this arse-hole could get the message that we were not going to purchase one of their lovely apartments!!!! So we got 2 tickets for free and the other 2 less 40%, oh and the free week turns out u have to pay 69€ for administrative fees naturally...but it's free!!! So people if you encounter this arses on your holidays keep well away, erm unless u want some free tickets lol:), or you have a free morning to spare!

Our Holiday in Albufeira - Algarve (part 1)

Well slowly I'll be posting photos and coments on our holiday in Albufeira, which we totally enjoyed!! We left on Saturday the 21st and stayed at the Vivenda Veiguinha which is situated in Vale de Parra, Albufeira. We got a lovely 1st floor of this lovely house a T1, which was very spacious and cool! We decided to give the bedroom to the kids and we slept on the lounge double couch and eina it wasn´t the most comfy of beds, but what the heck we only needed it to sleep, right? Oh and let me tell u the funniest part of this house; the pool is salt water which for us was great...but guess what, the water for everyday use, shower, cooking etc was also, oh yeah u better believe it!!! So let me tell u after a lekker day at the salt water pool, nothing better than a nice warm, salt water shower heheee. We had Brazilian neighbours (musicians), so the nights were loud and into the early hours of the mornings, but they were all great friendly folk. The house also had 2 dogs one a German Sheppard (Zorba) and a old small Tusha, which made my kids delights as it made them feel right at home! We sorted out the days as follows, in the mornings we did beach; Salgados which was not very known and was nice and secluded, as u'll see from the pics, and in the afternoons up until dinner time we took to the pool.

Will leave you with some pics of the house and post more tomorrow.
