Sobreiro, Mafra

So yesterday our adventure took us to Sobreiro in Mafra to see one of the main tourist attractions.  I personally think that this village is not correctly put out there for the tourists, and I wonder how many of them actually know of it's existance?  It is famous for the Jose Franco Museum, a typical village of cork and stone, shaped by the hands of José Franco (deceased in 2009).  And in addition to the exhibition of the figures, in the museum dedicated to him, visitors will find human-scale replicas of castle walls, windmills, a playground, a small wine cellar where they can taste the local wine or even the bakery , where they can buy the famous bread with chorizo (2€), among others. Oh, and before I forget, the entrance is absolutely free!

In case you want to visit here are the GPS coordinates :  N 38º 57' 34.58'' ,W 9º 21' 13.09'
